[🔹] 1. Lesson Objective
This article serves as a learning case study for analyzing the side head structure of Exotic Bully in the Clean line, using King Giagi as an example. Although there are some debates regarding the images, the overall structure provides a strong foundation for understanding the core elements of a Clean Head.
[❗️] Note: The images used in this article are still images provided for educational purposes only. They are not intended to represent perfection or to claim the highest standard of the breed.
[🔹] 2. Head Structure Overview
Block Head skull structure: Wide, tight, and vertically proportioned — without dome-like bulging or exaggerated upper mass (unlike a domed skull which appears high and rounded).
The top of the skull maintains a slight natural curve, not overly flat, and transitions smoothly into the lower jawline.
The head shape is symmetrical from left to right, with no visible distortions or structural imbalances.
[🔺] 3. Stop & Muzzle
Measurement Point : Description
Stop : Deep angle (~90°) with a clearly defined break from forehead to muzzle
Muzzle Length : Very short, approx. 1:4.2 of total head length
Muzzle Plane : Flat Muzzle (parallel to mid-eye line)
Nose Tip : Slightly below mid-eye line (~0.5–1 cm)
Muzzle Width : Full width, no taper or narrowing toward the tip
[✍️] Learn: A true Flat Muzzle should not curve upward or taper. It should project a strong, compact profile from stop to nose tip.
[🔺] 4. Jaw & Chin
- Lower jaw is deep and thick, offering excellent bite support (Full Jaw)
- Chin is prominent, not recessed, collapsed, or deformed
- Jawline is straight and symmetrical on both sides
[✍️] Learn: A good Jaw Depth to Muzzle Height ratio is about 1.2:1 to provide facial depth and avoid a weak chin
[🔺] 5. Lips & Clean Face
- Lips are tight and firm, not drooping like a bulldog
- Facial skin is smooth, without deep wrinkles or hanging folds
- Natural muscle grooves are visible but do not distort structure
[✍️] Learn: A Clean Face means a smooth facial surface without features that distort or interrupt structure. It does not mean a face without any natural lines.
[📊] 6. Measured Proportions (From Image Reference)
Measurement Point : Estimated Value
Skull : Muzzle : ~3.8 – 4.2 : 1
Stop Angle : ~90°
Nose Tip : Eye Line : ~0.5–1 cm below mid-eye line
Muzzle Plane : Flat (0 – 5°)
Jaw Depth : Muzzle Height : ~1.2 : 1
Symmetry : Balanced from both front and side views
[🧩] 7. Learning Summary
"Giagi may not be the ultimate prototype, but it is a powerful teaching example of what a Clean – Thick – Balanced – Functional Exotic Head should look like.
This case demonstrates what to aim for — and what helps prevent deformity.
